61. Barcelona - Gaudí - Sagrada Familia

Construction continues on Gaudí's opus magnus. It was begun in 1882, and Gaudí worked on it for over 40 years. He devoted the last 15 years of his life to it alone. It is scheduled to be completed in 2026, after interruptions for thibgs like the Spanish Cicil War. It is funded by priavate donations and entry fees.
